As workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives continue to gain traction, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are also growing in popularity. These voluntary, employee-led groups are dedicated to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace in line with the organizations they represent. Recently, the Chicago CECW team members came together for a delightful paint & sip party, creating a beautiful autumnal design just in time for the new Fall season! Additionally, our CECIgnite team hosted a quarterly get-together, emphasizing our mission to nurture employee growth and collaboration by offering internal and external opportunities to enhance technical, professional, and personal skills. We are committed to engaging young professionals early in their careers and retaining employees for the long term.

Our office has strong ties to the community and local fundraiser programs. Our local CECFit group (led by Andy Gullone) participated in the Annual Epilepsy Fall Fest 5K, which is the local fundraiser that help raise awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. This year, our running team was overwhelmed with gratitude for the excellent team members and many generous donors who helped us far exceed our goal $2,000 as we collectively raised $4,265! We have historically participated in the annual DuPage County River Sweep, during which volunteers help pick up debris in and along the branches of the DuPage River and restore nearby land to its natural state. Also, we annually sponsor a tree at the annual Brookfield Zoo Tree Trim. This is a beautiful way to support the Zoo and celebrate the Holiday Magic. In addition, many of our employees are active in their own charitable activities.
