Every holiday season, our team members around the country find ways to come together and give back to their local communities. Below are some highlights of the awesome ways our offices took the time to lend a helping hand this year:
- Athens partnered with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and volunteered at the Calvary Alliance for their Fresh Express Food Distribution event. The team also adopted families through The Children’s House Child Advocacy Center for their Christmas 4 Kids event.
- Austin team members volunteered for Operation Turkey, an organization that cooks, packages, and delivers Thanksgiving meals to those in need, and ran the Turkey Trot, which benefits Caritas of Austin.
- Boston participated in a shoe drive through Communal Sole who takes new and lightly used shoes and donates them to someone in need.
- Bridgeport donated money and gifts to the Harrison County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program. CASA supports court-appointed volunteers to provide a safe environment to child victims of abuse or neglect. The team also sponsored a local Cub Scout Pack.
- Charlotte team members ran in the Sixth Annual HeroRun to benefit Veterans Bridge Home, an organization helping veterans transition back to civilian life after military service.
- Chicago sponsored and decorated a company tree at the Brookfield Zoo with all handmade ornaments. This event helps raise money for the zoo and is a tradition the office has done for the past seven years. The office also participated in a food drive for a local food bank, Loaves & Fishes.
- Cleveland volunteered at MACE‘s food pantry and served nearly 450 families.
- Greenville donated toys to its local U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots foundation. They also collected hundreds of food items for Harvest Hope Food Bank.
- Monroeville collected holiday donations for Rabbit Wranglers, Shelter’s Helpers of Pittsburgh, and Toys for Tots. The office also made monetary contributions to each of the groups.
- Pittsburgh provided gifts from the wish lists of 80 local children through the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Holiday Project. The group also packed and delivered 82 gift bags filled with presents and personal care items to the Veterans Administration Hospital.
