Owner Objective
Hendricks Commercial Properties developed the Ironworks at Keystone into a vibrant mixed use project that includes Ruth Chris Steakhouse, restaurants, office, and 120 apartments. In addition, Hendricks operates the high end Ironworks Hotel that includes 120 hotel rooms and additional restaurants.
CEC Approach
CEC was retained to work with Hendricks Commercial to develop the former Woodfield Centre into Ironworks, a re-developed $60 million Ironworks at Keystone, on 9.0-acres in Indianapolis.
The development, which is located at the southwest corner of Keystone Avenue and East 86th Street, includes 45,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, 120 hotel rooms and 120 apartment units. Other companies involved with the development of the project include Shiel Sexton, Ratio Architects, EUA Architects and Wooden & McLaughlin LLP. CEC performed survey, environmental, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and permit assistance. CEC designed and permitted an off-site wetland mitigation area and bridge crossing with the Indiana DNR.
