Owner Objective

Fairfield Township wanted to replace one of its older, smaller, and outdated fire stations with a new, larger building in a better location. The new location is more centrally located with better access to major roads, which will allow emergency responders to reach their destination in a timelier manner. This project is one of two new fire stations planned for the Township.

CEC Approach

The Township selected CEC to develop the new fire station. CEC provided a complete topographic and boundary survey of the site and also designed a public sanitary sewer extension for the site as part of the Butler County Environmental Services requirement.

CEC assisted the Township with preparation and issuance of the RFQ and RFP and with selection of the design/build contractor for the site. This development increased the number of fire fighters, fire trucks, emergency vehicles, and training opportunities in the Township.
