CEC Indianapolis Volunteers at Food Bank

CEC Indianapolis volunteered at Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, which distributes food in 21 Indiana counties to more than 210 agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Thanks to local grocery store partners, the Gleaners Community Cupboard serves free groceries four days a week to those in need, therefore serving over 100 people per hour. Nine CEC volunteers assisted Gleaners’ Indianapolis Community Cupboard pantry by distributing food items and bagging and loading groceries into cars. Thank you to all who participated!
