CEC Greenville’s Christian Alonso recently participated in the Ride to End ALZ South Carolina fundraising event. Ride to End ALZ South Carolina is a 255-mile-long cycling course starting in upstate South Carolina with riders finishing the course on the Charleston coast. The 3-day group ride helped fund cutting-edge research targeted to change the trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease.

Three employees from our Sacramento office recently completed a triathlon! The Great American Triathlon is a 24.42 mile long course along the American River in Sacramento. The course consisted of a 5.95 mile running section, a 12.5 mile cycling section and a 6.1 mile paddle race. Scott McGourty was the runner, Orion Regier handled the cycling and Nolan Blake paddled the team to the finish line.

Our Austin office recently participated in the Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita 5K Race! The office dressed up with light up accessories to help light the way to the finish line. Participants were greeted with nachos, margaritas, and a DJ after finishing the 5K! Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita 5K benefited the Trail Conservancy, who maintain, create and advocate for trail systems in Central Texas.

CEC Columbus Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) — CEC iDEA, CEC Community, CEC Women, and CEC Fit — organized a blood drive in their office May 18. The event resulted in a donation of 22 units to the Greater Columbus Ohio Chapter of the Red Cross, exceeding its goal by two units. The groups not only recruited donors from CEC, but from other employers throughout the office park and community.
