CEC Austin lent a helping hand to Helping Hand Home for Children during the annual Amplify Austin fundraising event March 4-5.
As part of the 24-hour giving event, CEC Austin matched $5,000 in donations to Helping Hand Home, which helps protect and restore the lives of victimized children by providing a nurturing and therapeutic home for them and help restore a healthy family environment.
More than 34,000 donors helped raise about $12.5 million for 686 organizations across Central Texas as part of Amplify Austin’s 2021 campaign. The annual event raised money for nearly 700 organizations for causes including basic needs, disaster response, animal care and services, arts and culture, and more.
CEC Austin’s donation helped further a relationship that began in 2018, when CEC Austin began working on site development for Helping Hand Home. In all, Helping Hand Home received $21,250 from 122 donors during Austin’s annual day of giving.
