CEC Bridgeport’s Hannah Costello recently was featured in an article in West Virginia Construction News magazine about the founding of a West Virginia chapter of WTS International.
Hannah is a founding member and vice president of WTS-WV, which she says will be a gamechanger for women and men in the transportation industry because it will provide new opportunities within West Virginia and throughout the country. “WTS-WV is home to members across the entire state and intends to hold events in a multitude of locations to ensure access and benefit its geographically diverse constituents,” Hannah says in the article.
Since 1977, WTS International has focused on promoting the advancement of women in the transportation industry, and the women in the organization use their connections to advance each other and realize a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable transportation industry.
“It is beyond exciting to think of the positive impacts this group will have on our great state. In addition, as a recent college graduate just over a year into my career, I have learned a great deal and improved upon several skills by working alongside these experienced and very talented women that make up the formation team,” Hannah says.
